Man Smashed Car Windows In Greenport: Cops

He also broke the cord of a computer mouse — at the police station, cops say.

GREENPORT, NY — A Rocky Point man was cuffed after he was caught smashing car windows in Greenport Monday night, police said.

According to Southold Town Police, Kyle Frisina, 39, was arrested at 11:30 p.m. after authorities were called to a report of a man breaking the car windows. Witnesses saw him smash the windows of three vehicles on Third Street and one on Adams Street, police said.

Frisina was located a short distance from the scene and was identified; he was arrested, transported to Southold Town Police headquarters, charged with four counts of criminal mischief, property valued at more than $250, and one count of criminal mischief with intent to damage property, police said.

Frisina was processed and held for arraignment —and during his processing, Frisina grabbed hold of the computer mouse and broke the cord, resulting in the additional criminal mischief charge, police said.
