Man Stole Cash, Wallet From 7-Eleven: Cops

He was arrested at the store, police say.

GREENPORT, NY — A man was arrested after he stole cash and a wallet from the 7-Eleven in Greenport, police said.

According to Southold Town Police, Jarod Tramanta, 21, was arrested on Tuesday at 11:44 p.m. at the 7-Eleven on Main Road, and charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor.

An investigation revealed that Tramanta was the suspect in the larceny after the wallet and cash were stolen from the store, police said.

He was arrested, transported to police headquarters, processed, and released on $100 bail, police said.
