Martin Luther King Jr. Honored At Greenport Ceremony Sunday
The "Celebration of the Dream" memorial service is presented by Southold Town's anti-bias task force committee.
GREENPORT, NY — Residents are invited to share in a day of in a "Celebration of the Dream" memorial program honoring Martin Luther King, Jr.
The program is presented by Southold Town's anti-bias task force committee and takes place Sunday, Jan. 14 at 4 p.m. at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, located at 71305 Main Road in Greenport.
"Join us in solidarity and celebration," Southold Town officials said in a release.

The event is meant to celebrate "a day of hope, renewal, re-dedication to the ideals of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.," town officials said.
The keynote speaker will be Reverend Enoch Thomas, First Baptist Church Cathedral.
