Mattituck Bank Employee Steals $3K From Customer: Cops
The woman was charged with third degree grand larceny, police say.

MATTITUCK, NY — A Wading River woman employed at a bank in Mattituck stole more than $3,000, police said.
According to Southold Town Police, Indira Lapurka, 47, was arrested Thursday after an incident on Aug. 11 at 11 a.m. and charged with third degree grand larceny, police said.
Lapurka was arrested after an investigation revealed that on several occasions she stole more than $3,000 from a customer while she was employed at a bank in Mattituck, police said.
