Multicultural Festival Planned For Greenport School
Families are needed to participate and showcase their cultures, traditions, foods, songs and dances.

GREENPORT, NY — A celebration of Greenport's cultures is unfolding: The Greenport Union Free School District is hosting a Multicultural Festival.
The Multicultural Festival, which takes place on May 6 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.in the Greenport School small gymnasium, celebrates the many cultures, traditions, foods, songs, dances and people of the village.
The district is looking for families to participate and sign-up for tables to represent their cultures. Tables can include food, photographs, artifacts, flags, instruments and any other cultural decoration that that shares the unique qualities of that country and culture.

The event is open to families in all grades; there is a suggested $5 entry fee to benefit the Multicultural Club for future events and activities.
