Multi-Vehicle Accident In Construction Zone Injures 2: Cops
Two drivers were hospitalized, police say.
PECONIC, NY — A multi-vehicle accident on County Road 48 Monday morning sent at least two drivers to the hospital, police said.
According to Southold Town Police, the accident took place in an active construction zone at 8:03 a.m. east of Carroll Avenue in Peconic.
Two drivers were transported to local hospitals for medical treatment, police said.
