Mark Kennedy of The Associated Press had a USA Today article re: TOM JONES ~ the lyricist, director, -{ & }- writer of THE FANTASTICKS who passed away at age 95 at his home in Sharon, Connecticut, “according to Dan Shaheen, a co-producer of THE FANTASTICKS. He worked w/ Tom Jones since the 1980s. The cause was cancer.”
Tom Jones teamed-up w/ composer HARVEY SCHMIDT on THE FANTASTICKS plus 110 IN THE SHADE -{ & }- I DO! I DO! He was inducted into the American Theatre Hall of Fame in 1998.
