New Details On Death Of Man Found Seriously Hurt In LI Apartment: PD

GREENPORT, NY — New details have emerged about a man who died Monday after being found seriously injured in a Greenport apartment Friday, police said.

Suffolk County police said homicide detectives are investigating the incident, which took place at the Lakeside Garden Apartments on North Street. Modesto Salguero-Guillen, 48, of Greenport was found seriously injured Friday and taken to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore, where he died Monday at 8 a.m., police said.
