New Holistic Healing Space, Chrysalis, Opens On North Fork

The goal is to "connect one to nature and the community," the founder of the new business say.

CUTCHOGUE, NY — A new business, Chrysalis Holistic Healing, will hold a grand opening ceremony Wednesday in Cutchogue.

The new collaborative holistic healing space, founded by Emily Anne McDonald, MD, will feature workshops, events, and locally sourced goods, a release said.

The grand opening ceremony takes place Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the business, located at 28080 Main Road in Cutchogue; the grand opening week will continue through Oct. 31

The space will offer a series of workshops and events throughout the opening week including restorative yoga and reiki, introductions to meditation, astrology, tarot, crystal, and flower essence readings, holistic medicine consultations, retail showcase, and a community clinic by nonprofit Ethos Rising, also founded by McDonald, and fellow Chrysalis educator and healer Torie Cande.

"Chrysalis is a collaborative holistic healing space the connects you to nature and community. Through partnerships with practitioners offering private sessions to help develop holistic self-care practices, individuals develop practices with holistic services including medical consulting, herbal and vibrational healing, reiki and energy healing, meditation, yoga, astrology, and more," the release said. "Weekly workshops, events, and locally handmade, plant-based products from North Fork artisans are also available in the welcoming, transformative space."
