No Injuries Reported In Rollover Crash: Cops

MATTITUCK, NY — No serious injuries were reported after a rollover crash in Mattituck Friday night, police said.

According to Southold Town Police, the crash took place on Country Rd. 48 and Elijahs Ln. at 10:45 p.m. when one driver, who was heading east on CR 48 in a four-door gray sedan, was struck on the passenger side by the driver of a gray Nissan pickup truck, who was driving north on Elijahs Ln. and failed to stop at a stop sign.

The sedan overturned in the westbound lane; neither driver was injured but both were treated and evaluated by Mattituck Fire Department first responders who responded to the scene, police said.
