Normal Business Hours For Southold Tax Receiver's Office Friday

SOUTHOLD, NY — The clock may be ticking but there's still time to pay property taxes in person at Southold Town Hall on Friday.

Southold Town Supervisor Scott Russell and Southold Receiver of Taxes George Sullivan said that the Southold tax receiver’s office will be open during regular business hours on Friday.

While all other departments are scheduled to close at 11:30 a.m. due to the holiday, the tax receiver’s office will continue to take payments until 4 p.m. for those wishing to pay property taxes prior to the New Year.

For those paying by mail, all payments that are postmarked by December 31, 2017 will be considered paid on that date by the tax receiver’s office.
