North Fork Country Club is Serving Up Gratitude
North Fork Country Club Serves Meals to Those in Need in Partnership with St. Agnes Church and Maureen's Haven

The North Fork Country Club recently teamed with St. Agnes Church in Greenport and Maureen’s Haven Homeless Outreach to offer shelter and hot meals to those in need this holiday season. More than fifty meals were delivered, including boxed meals for next day distribution. Every year, the North Fork Country Club supports the local community during the holiday season event as part of its overall mission of community empowerment and philanthropy.
“The North Fork Country Club has been a part of this community for more than 100 years. This is our neighborhood, and we are proud to offer care and support to those of our neighbors who need it most. Both during the holiday season and throughout the year,” said Jay Miller President of the North Fork Country Club. “We are grateful for our club members’ tremendous level of generosity for making this effort possible. We also would like to acknowledge the amazing work that the St. Agnes Church and Maureen’s Haven do every day. Thank you for joining us in this initiative.”
In addition to the dinner, the North Fork Country Club also added two more meal donation events to its event calendar: December 3, 2020 and December 27, 2020. The North Fork Country Club will also continue donating meals to first responders and health care workers at Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital, Southold Police Department, CAST of Southold and postal workers through its established community campaign. These efforts, and more, are all made possible by generous member support.

“We are proud to give back to our community in any way possible,” said Raluca Pintea, the General Manager of the North Fork Country Club. “Philanthropy and community service have been pillars of our organization since our beginning 108 years ago. This year, as Suffolk County and the East End communities have been greatly impacted by COVID-19, it is more important than ever to help those in need. We value the opportunity and will continue to serve our neighborhood for years to come.”
