North Fork Roadhouse Coming Soon; Job Fair Saturday
The new North Fork Roadhouse is set to open in April; head to a job fair Saturday if you want to join the "dream team," owners say.

MATTITUCK, NY — After months of anticipation, the new North Fork Roadhouse is set to open in April on Sound Avenue in Mattituck.
The business, located at 9095 Sound Avenue in Mattituck, has been launched by three owners, Jon Troyan and Keith and Brian Lewin, all of Aquebogue. The three shared their vision for North Fork Roadhouse with Patch.
"We feel that there's a lack of places to go for families other than the farms; that's what makes us unique," Troyan said. The business, he said, is sited on three acres of land, plenty of space to offer fun experiences for all, including corn hole, music, car shows, and more, he said.

The restaurant will feature barbecue, as well as gluten free and vegan offerings; spirits will be available, with a focus on local craft beers and wine, Troyan said.
"We're really going to be a fun family place," Troyan said. "It's not just a restaurant — it's going to be a destination. Come plant yourself for four or five hours and we'll entertain you and take good care of you."

At Saturday's job fair, which takes place from noon to 4 p.m., Troyan said owners are "looking for high energy, talented individuals to become part of a dream team. We want people from the community to be a part of our team — we want the community to work at our place and be a part of our family."
Jobs up for grabs include positions across the board such as servers, dishwashers, bus boys and girls, and line cooks.
A soft opening is slated before the grand opening in April, Keith Lewin said. The business, he said, is going to be well-rounded. "It's going to bounce off the local vineyards and breweries. It's a one-stop shop, with food. The ideas and vision are endless."
A newly hired chef, Lewin said, will focus American fare, with "something for everyone." The menu will also feature a wide selection of beer, cider and wine.
"I'm really looking forward to the opening," said Brian Lewin. "We want everyone to be able to hang out outside, listen to bands play — just a good atmosphere. We want to be the new local place, a place locals can make a second home."
He added: "We definitely want to make it look homey." To that end, visitors will be asked to bring in jerseys from their local teams to hang, as well as photos. "We want everyone to feel they have a piece of the place," Lewin said. "We want people to come and bring their smile and have a good time — to share laughs and music and good times."
