After high school, she went on to attend Syracuse University majoring toward a Foods and Nutrition degree.

However, a summer job refocused her attention in the dental field and she shifted to a degree in Dental Hygiene at Farmingdale State College.

After graduation, Glover worked as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the Farmingdale School District.

She was married to R. Graham Glover, a St. Lawrence University graduate who recently returned from military duty in Germany on June 28, 1958.

She then went to work as a Registered Dental Hygienist, employed by Huntington area dentists as the sons progressed through the South Huntington schools.

In her spare time, she found time to pursue her musical ability, became very active in church work and other community endeavors.

After Graham’s retirement from the telephone industry, the couple moved to the North Fork and Esther continued her love for singing as a member of two church choirs and the North Fork Chorale.

She was also a proud member of the Minnepaug Club and played golf with the “Cedarettes” at Cedars Golf Course.

Together, they had three sons, Robert, Richard and James, all of whom live on Long Island.

Glover was predeceased by her son Robert on February 26, 2015. In addition to her husband and two sons, she is also survived by her grandchildren Amanda, Caitlin, Tyler, Max, Ella, Sophie and Hazel Glover.
