Obituary: Gasper J. Pisacano, Formerly of Jamesport, Dies at 85

Gasper J. Pisacano, of Riverhead, (formerly of Jamesport and Huntington), died on December 18, 2015. He was 85.

Piscano was predeceased by his wife, Adeline E. Pisacano, his daughter, Linda Pisacano and his brother, Joseph Pisacano.

He is survived by his children; Stephen, Richard, Michael and Maria Bassemir, his brother, Arthur, his sisters Louise Totora, Angela Altieri and Florence Liso and his grandchildren; Christopher Pisacano, Richard Pisacano, Stephenie Pisacano, Gabriella Misiano, David Bassemir, Gina Bassemir and Rebecca Bassemir.

Visitation will take place at the DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home located on 13805 Main Road in Mattituck on Tuesday, December 22 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. 9 p.m.

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, December 23 starting on 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

Interment, with US Marine Corps honors, will follow at the Calverton National National Cemetery.
