Visitation: The family will recieve Friday, March 6 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home on 51400 Main Road (NYS Route 25) in Southold

Services: Funeral services will take place on Saturday, March 7, at 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church on 53100 Main Road (NYS Route 25) in Southold with the Reverend Dr. Peter Kelley officiating. Southold Fire Department services will be held at 7 p.m.

Obituary: Richard A. “Dick” Winters of Southold died March 4, 2015 at his home. He was 79. Memorial donations to Southold Fire Department Rescue Squad, Eastern Long Island Hospital (in support of the Emergency Room), American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association would be appreciated. Envelopes will be available at the Funeral Home for that purpose.
