Obituary: William Edward Heck, Jr. of Laurel, Dies at 82

William Edward Heck, Jr. of Laurel, died on December 7, 2015. He was 82.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, December 10 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Homes in Mattituck.

The funeral service will be held on Friday morning at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

Caren Heacock, Pastoral Associate of Mattituck Presbyterian Church, will be officiating. Interment, with US Army honors, will follow at Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the USO or John’s Place Mattituck would be appreciated.
