Oktoberfest Coming Soon To Greenport Harbor Brewery

Get ready for the fall festivities, including German fare, a stein-holding contest, and toe-tapping music by an "oompah band."

PECONIC, NY — If the fall foliage has you in the mood for a bonafide Oktoberfest, here's one close to home on the North Fork.

Greenport Harbor Brewery is hosting an Oktoberfest on Sunday, October 16, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Peconic location, sited at 42115 Route 25 in Peconic.

The event includes live music by Die Spitzbaum Oompah Band, a souvenir glass with one free beer plus $5 refills, a stein holding contest, raffle prizes for those in costume, and German fare, "including those huge pretzels you love," organizers said.
