Opa! Greek Celebration Slated For Greenport's Mitchell Park Saturday

GREENPORT, NY — If you're hankering for a sunset in Santorini or a night filled with music under the Acropolis in Athens but can't leave home, there's a celebration in Greenport Saturday night not to miss.

The Hellenic American Taxpayers and Civic Association, or HATCAST, will present a Greek Music and Folk Dance Festival from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Mitchell Park, near the carousel.

Also onhand will be vendors with music and T-shirts, bringing memories of beautiful Greece to the North Fork.
