Owner Frantic After Dog, Boo, Goes Missing In Southold
Owner Joan Torkelsen said she is "frantic" over Boo's disappearance. Have you seen him?
SOUTHOLD, NY — A Southold family is frantic after their 7-year old Havanese dog, Boo, went missing Monday.
According to Joan Torkelsen, she is currently in Mexico and her son was watching her two dogs in the yard when Boo somehow got out under the fence. Boo went missing from Summer Lane near Cedar Drive and Main Bayview Road in Southold around 4 p.m.
Boo, she said, is all white with a black ear and foot, and about 10 or 12 lbs.

"He's a nervous dog," she said. "He'll be shaking like a leaf. He's never separated from our other dog — and now he's been out all night."
Tears in her voice, Torkelsen added, "I'm devastated."
