Peconic Pediatrics Expands Its Southold Location

Allied Physicians Group, an independent partnership of high-quality comprehensive health care services for both children and adults, recently hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and celebration for Peconic Pediatrics Southold, who has expanded their office to service more children and breastfeeding mothers on the east end of Long Island.

The 1,650 sq. ft., state-of-the-art pediatric office has five pediatricians, Dr. Fatema Meah, Dr. Lisa Visentin, Dr. Brad Fell, Dr. Megan Kasnicki, and Dr. Doug Friedfeld, as well as two Nurse Practitioners Michele Wruck and Kara Crawford. Each clinician is dedicated to practicing and providing high-quality care to Southold and the surrounding communities. Services offered include newborn care, well and sick visits, breastfeeding medicine, telehealth services, patient resources, expertise in constipation and encopresis, asthma education, and more.

The expanded facility will allow for increased staffing and more available appointments. The office is also supporting the Southold Employee Experience Internship program that gives high school students the opportunity to jumpstart their careers in healthcare.

With an urgent need for pediatric care in the area, these physicians will provide the highest quality of care to all patients in the Southold and surrounding communities. They will continue to educate parents and their children about best health practices.
