Police: Baiting Hollow Woman Arrested on DWI Charge

A Baiting Hollow woman was arrested on a DWI charge on Route 48 early Friday morning, according to Southold Town Police.

Anastasia Yakaboski, 26, was driving westbound on Route 48 by Westphalia Road and was seen failing to maintain her lane of travel by crossing over the solid white line into the shoulder of the roadway, police said.

Yakaboski was stopped and observed to have the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her breath, according to police.

She failed Standardized Field Sobriety tests administered at the scene and was determined to be intoxicated, police said.

Yakaboski was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters to be processed. She was held to await arraignment.
