Police: Flanders Man Arrested on Felony DWI Charge Under Leandra's Law
Police arrested the man, who was involved in an accident at Riverhead High School on Wednesday.

A Flanders man was arrested for aggravated DWI and endangering the welfare of a child after he was involved in an accident on Wednesday in the parking lot of Riverhead High School, police said.
Riverhead Town Police received a report of an accident at 9:41 a.m. when they discovered Jesse R. Goodale III, 67, who was operating a 2013 Toyota intoxicated with a blood alcohol concentration of .24 with a 14-year-old passenger, police said.
According to police, no injuries were reported.

Goodale was charged with a felony under Leandra’s Law, which makes any driving while intoxicated charge an automatic felony if the operator carried any passengers under the age of 16.
He was processed and released this morning on $10,000 cash bail, police. He is due back in court on Wednesday Nov. 26.
