Police: Greenport Man Had Cocaine in Home With 3 Children
Man arrested after police execute a search warrant Tuesday morning.

A Greenport man was arrested Tuesday morning after police say they found cocaine in his home, which was also occupied by three children.
Members of the Southold Town Police Department, the East End Drug Task Force of the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, and the Suffolk County Police Department’s Emergency Service Unit executed a search warrant at the home on Main Street about 6 a.m., police said.
Lavain Creighton, 45, was found to be in possession of a quantity of cocaine, police said.

Creighton was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and endangering the welfare of a child.
He transported to headquarters where he was processed and held for arraignment.
