Police ID Man Killed In Cutchogue Crash
He lost control of his vehicle and hit a tree, police say.
CUTCHOGUE, NY — Police have identified the man killed in a Monday night crash on the North Fork as Melvin Domiguez, 21, of Cutchogue.
According to Southold Town Police, the crash took place at 10:38 p.m. on Rt. 48 near Alvahs and Elijahs Lanes. Domiguez, who was heading east on Country Rd. 48, lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree on the south side of the road. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
