Police: Mattituck Man Arrested on Drug Charges
The man was originally stopped for driving while using a cell phone, police say.
A Mattituck man was arrested on drug charges in Mattituck on Wednesday afternoon, according to Southold Town Police.
Thomas Concolino, 37, was stopped for driving while using a cell phone on Route 48 and Mary’s Road at about 2:15 p.m., police said.
A DMV check showed his license was suspended and he also found to be in possession of heroin, according to police.

Concolino was arrested for seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument, and second degree aggravated unlicensed operation, police said.
He was processed pending arraignment.
