Police Rescue Man Who Fell Overboard While Working On Boat
The man was treated for hypothermia, police say.

SOUTHOLD, NY — An East Hampton man was rescued after he fell off his boat in Southold Friday, police said.
According to Southold Town Police, the incident took place at 11:47 a.m. at Goldsmith's Boat Shop. Craig Humphrey, 75, was found by police in the water near the dock at the location, police said.
Officers were able to remove Humphrey from the water and place him on the dock, police said.

Humphrey was transported to Eastern Long Island Hospital by the Southold Fire Department for treatment of hypothermia, police said.
Humphrey, police said, had been completing work on his boat when he fell overboard; he was in the water for about 20 minutes before he was rescued, police said.
