Police: Two Clerks Arrested For Selling Alcohol to Minor
Two Southold women arrested. Local businesses cited for selling alcoholic beverages to an undercover State Police operative.

Two Southold women were arrested and the North Fork businesses they work at cited after they sold alcohol to an undercover State Police operative on Tuesday, police said.
The New York State Police Barracks in Riverside conducted the underage drinker enforcement operation in the Town of Southold.
Elizabeth P. Weiss, 52, a clerk at Peconic Liquors, located at 31435 Main Road in Cutchogue and Sarah E. Nappa, 34, a clerk at Wine Maker Studios, located at 2885 Peconic Lane in Peconic, were arrested and charged with second degree unlawful dealing with a child and prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage.

Weiss and Nappa were issued appearance tickets returnable to court at a later date.
