Popular Musician Performs Holiday Concert To Benefit Library
"The holiday season is my favorite time of year. It's like the whole world is singing, shining and saying 'hi.'" — Brady Rymer.

SOUTHOLD, NY — A beloved North Fork musician is opening his heart to celebrate the holidays with the community.
The Southold Free Library has orchestrated a holiday benefit featuring three-time Grammy nominee and Southold resident Brady Rymer, who will be joined by his band and "some very special guests from the community", to celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah and a Happy New Year with an all-ages concert, according to organizers.
The concert will benefit the Southold Library’s renovation and will take place on Thursday, December 21 at 7 p.m. in the Southold Jr./Sr. High School auditorium.

"A generation of North Fork children and families has grown up with a soundtrack of Brady’s songs," a release from the library said.
This year, Brady released an album of original holiday tunes for all ages to enjoy: “Revvin’ Up the Reindeer,” "rocking the season with the band’s rootsy, feel-good sound, along with caroling harmonies, brass and bells, and whispers of holiday standards throughout," the release said.

And, organizers added, "Brady is thrilled to bring his full 6-piece band to town — outstanding players all, with backgrounds from Americana to Zydeco — to celebrate with the community and raise funds for the library."
The band will be joined onstage by the “Fa La La’s,” a talented group of Southold middle school chorus students who also contributed vocals to the recording.
“The holiday season is my favorite time of year. It’s like the whole world is singing, shining and saying 'hi',” Rymer said. “I couldn’t be more excited to share these songs to benefit our town’s beloved library.”
