Prom Dress Giveaway Hosted By Southold Town
Need a dress for a prom, formal, or military ball? No problem. A great new giveaway will ensure every girl has the experience of a lifetime.
SOUTHOLD, NY — Prom is a forever memory for high school students. But with escalating costs including pricey dresses and tuxedos, those dreams may be painfully out of reach for some.
To that end, the Town of Southold Youth Bureau is hosting its 1st Annual Dress Giveaway.
Young women in need of a prom dress, a gown for a military ball, or an outfit semi-formal can reach out to see new and "like new" choices.

The dresses are available by appointment only at the Peconic Community Center on Peconic Lane. To make an appointment, contact Youth Bureau Director Lynn Nyilas by calling 631-765-8251 or emailing lynnn@southoldtownny.gov.
Both new and like new dresses donations are also being accepted.
