MATTITUCK, NY — Santa came to town in Mattituck Saturday, delighting a sea of children and adults alike as he rode into the shopping plaza with Mrs. Clause on a shiny red Mattituck Fire Department firetruck.

Santa Day, sponsored by the Mattituck Chamber of Commerce, included a free showing for the kids of "Dr. Seuss' The Grinch" at Mattituck Cinemas, as well as hot cocoa and photos with Santa at Rite Aid after the show.
