CUTCHOGUE, NY — A huge crowd of happy families turned out Saturday for one of the North Fork's most anticipated holiday events as Santa flew into Cutchogue in a helicopter.
"Christmas in Cutchogue," hosted by the North Fork Chamber of Commerce and the Cutchogue Fire Department, included a standing room only, hilarious magic show at the Cutchogue Firehouse and home-baked treats.
Next, Santa arrived by helicopter, delighting the scores of smiling children who followed him to the Cutchogue New Suffolk Free Library for photos.
