Schools, Town Hall Announce Closures Due To Snow

NORTH FORK, NY — As snow continues to fall on the North Fork and in Riverhead, some districts have decided to amend their earlier announcements of a two-hour delay to a full-day closure.

Here are closures announced so far:

Southold Union Free School District is closed.

Greenport Schools are closed.

Mattituck-Cutchogue School District.

Riverhead Central School District.

The North Fork Early Learning Center is closed Tuesday due to snow.

A joint work session between the Oysterponds and Greenport school districts has been canceled and will be rescheduled due to weather.

Southold Town Hall is now closed for the day due to snow. All offices are closed and all meetings canceled on Tuesday.

All Riverhead Town senior and recreation programs canceled Tuesday.
