AQUEBOGUE, NY —The search is on for the person and SUV involved in an incident involving arson in Aquebogue last month, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Riverhead Police said a white SUV was involved with the arson, which took place in the parking lot of the Lighthouse Marina on September 12 at 9 p.m.

The driver of the vehicle detonated an incendiary device that shattered the back window of the vehicle and may have sustained injuries to the hands and face, police said.

Anyone with information about a person with a white SUV that needed a rear window replaced or received suspicious injuries to the hands or face should contact Crime Stoppers, authorities said.
