Search For Missing Kitten, Ziggy, Ends In Heartbreak

CUTCHOGUE, NY — The search for a missing kitten in Cutchogue has ended in heartbreak.

Tanya McDowell, whose 12-week-old kitten Ziggy, an orange tabby, was lost after the garage door blew open in the middle of the night, posted the painful news on Facebook Tuesday.

"Thank you for everyone’s help search for our little baby. We just got the dreaded phone call that his remains were found," she said.

McDowell is devastated. "I feel horrible we couldn’t find him. We tried so hard to bring him home safe," she said.
