Shed On Orient Property Fully Engulfed In Flames: Police

ORIENT, NY — A shed was fully engulfed in flames in Orient Monday, police said.

According to Southold Town police, the fire broke out at 7:19 p.m. at a property on Main Road in Orient.

The Southold Town Police Department and the Orient Fire Department responded to the reported structure fire, officials said.

Upon arrival, responding officials located a shed at the rear of the property that was fully engulfed in flames, police said.

The Orient Fire Department extinguished the fire, police said.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by Southold Town Police detectives and the Suffolk County Arson Squad, police said.
