Shelter in Desperate Need of Cat Food, Donations Sought
Food can be dropped off at the North Fork Animal Welfare League's location on Peconic Lane.
PECONIC, NY — 'Tis the season for giving, and there's a crowd of hungry cats who need food donations badly at the North Fork Animal Welfare League's shelter location in Peconic.
"We are running very low on canned cat food at the NFAWL Southold shelter," said Gabrielle Stroup in a Facebook appeal. "Please donate; we don't want hungry kitties."
