Shelter Dog, In New Home Less Than A Week, Goes Missing

He slipped out the back door in Southold. Here's what to do if you see Gomez.

NORTH FORK, NY — A shelter dog who finally found his forever home went missing after less than a week in Southold.

According to Gabrielle Stroup of the North Fork Animal Welfare League, Gomez went missing Sunday, slipping out the back door near Hortons Lane in Southold.

Gomez, she said, has been "sticking close to home," spotted near Lucas Ford and Erik's, on Route 48.
