Shelter Dog's Wish For Santa: 'He Needs A Family'
Fynn's injuries were once so bad that he "screamed in pain," Gabby Stroup of the League says. Now, he's healed and needs his forever home.

NORTH FORK, NY — One shelter dog has a special wish for Santa — to find his forever home.
Fynn, said Gabrielle Stroup, director of operations of the League in Peconic and Aquebogue, came to the shelter with an old injury to his spine.
"He screamed in pain," she said. "We placed him in one of our best foster homes. It took months, but his foster mom was able to heal him."

Fynn is a senior Lab mix, house-trained and is good with most other dogs, she said. "He's mellow and well-mannered. He’s still with his foster mom— but he needs a forever home."
If you would like to be Fynn's forever family call the League at 631-765-1811 ext. 1 to set up an appointment to meet him.
