Shelter Island Students Donate to Habitat For Humanity
The students donated over $1,000 to the organization.

Shelter Island High School students, along with group advisor Janine Mahoney, who have been longtime supporters of Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk’s Student Build Program, recently made a donation to the program.
Recently, the district received a donation from Shelter Island Presbyterian Church of $1,300, which they gave to Habitat.
Over the years, the school has raised more than $9,000 and hundreds of Shelter Island High School students have participated in the program.

In addition to their volunteer efforts the school has donated new building supplies and tools to Habitat projects.
