Greenport’s annual Tall Ships America kicked off this past Fourth of July weekend.
The schedule of events was jammed packed for the festival at Greenport Harbor which included tours of the ships, live music, fireworks and more.

The ships that were included in the festivial included:
- The Kalmar Nyckel, which arrived on Thursday.
- The A.J. Meerwald, which arrived on Thursday.
- The Lynx, which arrived on Friday.
- The Picton Castle which arrived on Friday.
- The Sagres which arrived on Friday.
The festival will continue on Monday, with the arrival of the Hermione and a welcoming ceremony taking place for the ship planned starting at 10 a.m.

Ship tours will continue until 6 p.m. with live music taking place throughout the day ending with the return of Dances at Mitchell Park starting at 7:30 p.m.
Tuesday will be the last day for the festival with ship tours and the Hermione interactive tent taking place from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
