SOUTHOLD, NY — A beloved annual holiday has postponed on the North Fork due to weather: The Southold Fire Department's Annual Santa Parade is now set to kick off on Sunday, Dec. 19 at 6 p.m., beginning at Southold High School and heading along Main Road to the Southold Fire Department, located at 55135 Main Road.

Beautifully decorated firetrucks aglow with lights, with Santa, Mrs. Claus and their elves onboard, are ready to bring smiles and cheer to the community.

After the parade, a mailbox will be left at the firehouse for children to leave letter for Santa; gifts for the kids will also be left outside.
