Southold Historical Museum Seeks Firefighter Memorabilia For Exhibit
The exhibit will honor the Southold Fire Department and patches, pins, coins, photos, or old uniforms are needed to tell the rich story.

SOUTHOLD, NY — The Southold Historical Museum is seeking to honor the brave first responders from the Southold Fire Department who have kept the community safe for generations — and they are asking for the public's help.
Executive Director Deanna Witte-Walker said this week that the Southold Historical Museum is seeking loans of antiques and vintage historical artifacts for the summer exhibit about the history of the Southold Fire Department.
"Do you have any patches, pins, coins, photos, or old uniforms that will help tell the story of the heroic men and women who have been a part of the Southold Fire Department?" she wrote. "While donations are always welcome, loans are also extremely helpful in sharing this story about the volunteers who have kept the tradition of fighting fires alive in our community."
