Southold Man Caught Driving Drunk: Police
He failed multiple field sobriety tests, police say.

SOUTHOLD, NY — A Southold man was cuffed after he was caught driving drunk early Friday, police said.
According to Southold Town Police, Thomas Hamlin, 61, was arrested at 1:56 a.m. on Kennys Road in Southold and charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.
Hamlin was stopped for having a defective headlight and was found to be intoxicated, police said. Hamlin failed multiple field sobriety tests, police said.

He was arrested, transported to police headquarters, processed and held for arraignment, police said.
