Southold Man Charged With Driving Drunk: Cops

He had a BAC of more than twice the legal limit, police say.

SOUTHOLD, NY — A Southold man was busted for driving drunk Sunday, police said.

According to New York State Police, Erick Ramirez-Martinez, 26, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after being stopped for multiple vehicle and traffic violations as he was heading north on County Road 105.

Ramirez-Martinez was transported to New York State Police Barracks Riverside where he provided a breath sample of .18% BAC, police said.

Martinez is due back at Riverhead Justice Court on April 23.
