Frank W. Wruck of Southold died on April 24, 2023. He was 82 years old. Frank Wruck was born in Queens October 2, 1940 to Evelyn (nee De Nike). In 1959, he graduated from high school in Hempstead in 1959.

Participating in Jungle Warfare joining the United States Army, he trained in Panama. Before joining the Nassau County Police Department on April 29, 1966,he worked as an insurance inspector for the Retail Credit Company -{ & }- retired in 1992. Frank became the director of security for the Seaford Schools. He also worked as a starter and ranger for several Nassau County golf clubs.

Predeceased by his parents and his twin sister, Evelyn Raynor (William), Frank Wruck is survived by his wife, Chris, of 37 years; his daughter, Pam; son, Frank (Denise), from a previous marriage; his granddaughter, Madison; son-in-law, Bob; brother-in-law, William; nieces, Debbie Urinek (Bill) and Karen Bartosik (Jan).

The family received friends on Thursday, April 27 (2023) from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Southold. Graveside services were held on Friday, April 28, (2023) at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick’s R.C. Cemetery in Southold, officiated by Father Peter Garry.
