Speeding Drunk Driver In Rollover Crash: Cops
He was driving drunk and unlicensed when his vehicle overturned and landed in the woods; a passenger was airlifted, police say.

GREENPORT, NY — A local man was arrested after he was involved in a rollover crash while driving drunk, police said.
According to Southold Town Police, Fausto Campos, 22, of Southold, was arrested on Wednesday at 5:44 p.m. on Route 25 in Greenport West and charged with driving while intoxicated, first offense, driving without a license, third degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, unsafe passing on the left and imprudent speed, police said.
Campos was driving south on Chapel Lane when he left the roadway and crashed; his vehicle overturned and landed in the woods, police said.

Campos was determined to be intoxicated, arrested, and transported by Greenport Fire Department to Eastern Long Island Hospital for treatment, police said.
A passenger, 35, of Mattituck who was in the vehicle was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital by Suffolk County aviation, police said.

Campos was transported from ELIH to police headquarters to be processed and was held to await arraignment, police said.
