State Of Emergency Lifted In Southold Town
Residents are asked to use caution on area roads, Town Supervisor Scott Russell says.

SOUTHOLD, NY — A state of emergency was lifted in Southold Town at 10 a.m. Friday, according to Southold Town Police.
Police said Southold Town Supervisor Scott Russell lifted the state of emergency at 10 a.m. Russell urged motorists to use caution, because persistent wind, coupled with drifting snow across roadways and cold temperatures, can make driving dangerous.
