GREENPORT, NY — Greenport students are raising funds for a little girl who's been facing health challenges in recent months.

During the month of December, the Greenport School District's Early Act club is selling buttons to benefit Greenport third grader Cassie Contreras, who had several surgeries this summer, according an announcement on the district's website.
