The incident was domestic, police said.

GREENPORT, NY - A SWAT team raced to Greenport early Sunday morning to the scene of what was initially believed to be a hostage situation.

According to Southold Town Police Chief Martin Flatley, at approximately 1:20 a.m., Suffolk County Police Department Emergency Services Unit responded to the Greenport location, which was not revealed due to the fact that it involved a domestic dispute.

But despite an alleged lockdown at the location, all ended well, Flatley said.
